8:45am- Audrey beading, one of her favorite crafty things to do lately
9:45am- This has been the story of my life lately. My little family has been so sick!
10: 45am- Brown paper packages tied up with string. Now if only the U.S. post office would actually allow them to be "tied up with string"; they would look so much more lovely that way!
11:45am- According to Audrey, this is "an apple juice party"
12:45pm- Audrey gets ready to cut another link off of our countdown to Christmas chain
{we took a little break to nap}
2:15pm- Mr. Elliot surveys the damage after he ransacked the puzzle + games drawer
3:15pm- Showing off the lovely earrings that I received in the mail today as a birthday present from my dear friend Shawn. They are from Kelly's darling Etsy shop and I love them so much!
4:15pm- Audrey is so in love with playing with our nativity and ornaments! So much so in fact that I have allowed it to justify my laziness at not getting all of the decorations on the tree yet. She would be so sad, and the tree has only been up with lights on it for one week...
5:15pm- A little glimpse at Christmas in my home: the advent calender is from Starbucks a couple of years ago (just a decoration + toy this year), a box of ornaments that still need to be hung on the tree, and our sweet little tree in the background. I love how Christmas trees make your home feel instantly more cozy. I wish we could keep it up all year!
6:45pm- Audrey sipping hot chocolate. A little treat after being outside in the cold, taking the garbage out with Daddy.

P.S. If you noticed that this month was kind of heavy on the Audrey pictures and weak on the Elliot ones, there is an explaination- my little man is sick again and spent much of the day in bed sleeping. Poor guy. Audrey has actually been sick as well, but was feeling much better today. If you think of it, would you mind praying that my little family would start feeling better soon? We have pretty much been hit with sickness over here nonstop since my trip last month. I think God definitely knew what He was thinking, sending me on a little vacation before I was overwhelmed with a sick family for a month! We are all getting tired of being stuck at home, and Erik and I are both feeling pretty worn out, thus the lack of blogging, emailing, and commenting on your blogs lately!
